The Fastest Way To Get 6 Pack Abs

A few years ago I had a rather large belly. I was always dreaming of gettign those 6 pack abs, that the steroid heads had. I went to the gym 3 times a week. But it made no difference to my abdominal muscles! So I searched high and low on the Internet for different solutions for getting 6 pack abs in the fastest way possible, the reason why I wanted 6 pack abs was to impress my girlfriend. Anyway after researching on the Internet I figured that I needed to maintain a healthy diet, and perform cardio and strength training, which focused on my my abdominal muscles.

Maintain a healthy diet - Obtaining 6 pack abs is easy, if you can control what you eat. You need to eat clean nutritious foods whilst eliminating those useless calories. I recommend eating a selection of foods that are good protein sources; chicken, turkey, egg whites. You should also consume a lot of lean fibrous carbs, such as; broccoli, mushrooms, squash, zucchini.

Cardio training - I hate cardio training, mainly because I'm quite lazy. But you should really dedicate 20 minutes of each day doing some cardio training. Anything that gets your heart beating fast for the whole 30 minutes is good. I recommend bike riding. But thats a personal preference of mine.

Strength Training The most effective exercise that work the abdominal muscles is the crunch. To perform a crunch you must; lay flat on the ground, knees bent, with your feet flat on the ground. Place your hands behind your head. And simply lift your head towards the ceiling, so it's about 5 inches from the ground. Then back down without touching the floor.
